The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

Working as an au pair means becoming a part of a new family, living within another culture, speaking another language and learning about life in another part of the world. I think calling it a "rewarding experience" is an understatement. To me, being an au pair would be a life changing experience. I believe being an au pair is an opportunity to grow as a human being, as many valuable abillities -such as responsibillity and open-mindedness- will be developed and enhanced. It is also a chance to meet a new family, connect with their kids and give them valuable help and maybe even teach them things that they will always remember.

My Interests:

At the present time, I am in college Linguistics and Translation, and I'm also studying to get a certification in Teaching of English as a Foreign Language. My dream job would be teaching languages to little children, because I think they're the most wonderful little creatures on this Earth! Children can always make us adults smile, and I think we can learn a lot from them, as they can learn from us. I am fluent in English and Spanish, and I have some knowledge of Italian and German. I'm really looking forward to improve my German, because I love Germanic languages. Apart from that, I love reading, music, photography, and meeting new people. I enjoy walking, being outside and making conversation. You could say I'm a relaxed person, I try not to stress or lose control. I think all problems can be solved so I try to stay positive and calmed in all situations, and try to come up with a solution instead of stressing over the problem!

Family Letter:

Dear Family, the most important thing that you should know about me is that I am an honest person, with a desire to have a positive and enriching experience. I'm very reasonable and I'm willing and looking forward to adapt to a new family and their rules and culture. I will take care of kids as if they were my own brothers/sisters, and do my best so you can feel comfortable with my work and my attitude. I have a younger sister and my parents both work full time, so I am used to doing house chores and taking care of her! I believe that with the right attitude, everything can be worked out, so I'm hoping to have a great time with the family, and hoping that the kids will have a great time with me! I'll be forever grateful to the family that gives me this opportunity : Noelia
