The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

For me the most important reason is that I love children and I want to gain new experiences with them. It’s a pleasure to teach them things but also learn things from them. Another positive side to it is that I’m very interested into other cultures. I’m very curious about different ways of lifing, customs and people. I regard beeing an au pair also as a new challenge. Beeing far away from home without my parents and friends may not be easy at first but it’s an experience which I will hopefully never forget, which broadens my horizon and which makes me grow more mature. I’ll be homesick maybe in the beginning but I’m sure that all the experience I gain and all the new friends I’ll hopefully make will compensate me for that.

My Interests:

I’m very active and creative and had the chance to practice my skills in a ballett school (for ten years), I took piano lessons (10 years), participated in our school choir (8 years) and I played/organized in a theatre group. Moreover, I like nearly every kind of sport (but I prefer winter sports), I like painting, listening to music, reading or just having a great time with my friends and my family. I’m also very interested in languages. I speak english and french fluently. I did a russian course. I understand and speak basic italian and I’ve just begun to learn norwegian.

I had a very happy childhood because we did a lot of things together and my parents taught me things which are important in life. I had to take responsibility very early because my parents went to work and I had to take care of my brother because my older sister was busy herself. I think that I’m very social-minded because when you grow up in a big family you know what it means to take responsibility and to show consideration for someone.
