The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

After my six months experience in germany as an au pair, i know that is the best way to learn the language and also to make part of a culture. and of course, the children are the best teachers.

I like to watch movies, to travel, like to ride the bike, workout, having conversations, reading books, internet, computer stuff, swimming... i like a lot of things, but i'm easy going, i like to make things to feel good, it doesn't matter what...

Dear Host Familie, My name is Paula, I'm 20 years-old, and I live with my parents in Brasilia, the capital of Brasil. We have three dogs, and we really enjoy beeing in our "balkon" looking the garden. Last year I've been in Germany for six months, first I had a family with 4 girls, 2,5,6 and 10 years old, more housework, i really like that family, we still in touch by emails, and i would love to see them again, but unfortunaly, was better to me and to sabine to find another au pair and house, so i went to gescher, and o looked after two boys, aaron and samuel, 8 and 10 years old, we had no problem, and was nice the time that we spent together. There i cooked, i made housework, like helping with iron (bügeln), cooking simple foods almost daily (kochen),cleanig the children's room, and vacuming the house 3 times per week, but of course i'm not blind so i see when i have work to do, and i don't have problem with wasching dishes, is not my problem. What i mean is that i don't have problems in working in the house or looking after the children, i just want to have my privacity, my german course, because is important to have a life, to have social connections, otherwise i can't improve my german. but i know that free time is not a problem. For me to live in a big city is better, i'm used with that, but when is easy to reach the town with a train or something like that, is better, of course. i've lived in a small town in germany for 6 months, i know how the life it is, so i prefer big cities, but this is just a small detais, i know from my past that the people around you are more important then where you are. Sometimes you can be happier without many things that we know that are nto essencial. Anyway, if you want to know more about me, or talk with me, just send me one email. I made six months of german in germany, in Volkshochschule, and i came back and i made 1 semester at Goethe Zentrum, and I'm having german classes since dezember, privaten klassen taglich... anyway, i'm here!!!
