The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I am currently an Au Pair in America and will be finishing my 18the Month with the same family in July. I love working and playing with the 2 boys I look after ages 8 and 11. I love working with children in general and I am quite close to some of my friends kids as well. Being around kids give me joy. Not only that, but I will get to see a different part of the world and experience new things.

My Interests:

I am very friendly and out going. I have lived aboard for 13 months now and in July it will be 18 months. I simply love being around kids, there just is no other way of putting it. I enjoy running around with them and teaching them new things. Just listening to them can be entertaining as well. I love sport and would consider myself a very active person. My favorite sport is field hockey and then I enjoy running every day if I can. Swimming and tennis are activities I enjoy as well. When I get the chance I go horse riding, but not nearly as often as I would like. Painting and drawing are hobbies that I enjoy, but not practice enough. In school I took piano lessons and I thought myself how to play the guitar but how much of that I still remember is another question Other sports I play is soccer and netball. Then I do love ice skating. I love being social and enjoy talking to friends and new people. A quiet movie night with friends of a fun game night is a good night. Going out of course is always fun and I enjoy dancing. I get used to a new place and environment very easy, but love the countryside and a small village. Going out is all fun, but would much rather be in nature. I am an easy going person who gets along with almost anyone. Very understanding and as long as there is respect I will go out of my way to be understanding and helpful. Apart from spending time with kids, I do love being around animals. I have 3 dogs back home and really miss them. What can I say, animals are one of my weaknesses.

Hello I am a fun loving person who loves children. It would be an honer to spend a year or more of my life with your family enjoying the time with your kids. As I have mentioned before, I love kids and enjoy being around them. I am strict and like having rules set in place, but at the same time fun and more fun is what I do best. Respect for each other and communication is a huge part of what I believe makes a relationship between au pair and family work. I am a quick learner and pick up new tings fast. I am looking to not just be a worker, but to also be a part of the family in some way. I am close to my family back in South Africa, but have no problem working aboard for another year.
