The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

Dear family, Hi! I am Maria Luise and I am 18 years old. I live in Austria near Vienna. I love to dance and to swim. I have had a lot of babysitting experience over the last four years. It would be nice to go somewhere with nice weather so that we can all enjoy outdoor activities together. Of course it does not matter if that is in a city or on the countryside. I would love to come and work for a family of any size with children of any ages, providing they have a hospitable and friendly attitude, in return I will work hard to meet the requests of my host family. I am looking for a au-pair job since I am not finished school yet. In my free time I play golf, go to swim and look after children from my neighbourhood. I hope your family wants me to be the person who takes care of the children. I am a happy girl who loves children of all ages. In addition I am used to work with children and I think they “give” me something back. I have a lot of experience with children and I am also ready to discuss with them problems. By working as an au pair I am simply hoping to experience different cultures, make new friends, see parts of the world I may not otherwise have an opportunity to see and that I have a positive impact on my host family: especially the children! You can say that I am a fun, friendly, energetic girl, who loves travelling, and getting involved in everything, especially sport and music. I'm a generally happy person who loves to laugh and will try anything once, but am also responsible and intelligent. I'm happy to work in any type of family. Where ever you live though, all I require is somewhere to stay active; jogging, swimming, bike riding... anything at all! I also have my drivers licence so I am able to drive your children. I love kids, I have lots of younger cousins who I baby-sit occasionally and entertain often. I would eventually like to become a doctor for children, so the experience with children would be great. Also after participating in a school in England I have fallen in love with the language, people and its culture and would love to spend more time over there and meet more people, like you!
