The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

It is so much fun to see what the children can do next or try to do next and learning new things. I will forever remember the wonderful people of the U.S., the sweet child I have had a chance to take care of, and the many people I got to meet from other countries living in here in the US. In addition, I met many great au pairs from all over the world through our social gatherings.Being an au pair has helped me to learn to meet new people, and be open minded to new people and new cultures. American people are so friendly and good. I made some very good friends here and I am very glad to say: I have an American friend!!!

My Interests:

First of all, I would like to introduce myself briefly. My name is Su-aidee . My nickname is Didi. I am 24 years old. I graduated from Rhamkhamhaeng University in Thailand--the Faculty of Humanities (Arts) with major in English and minors in Japanese. In April 2003, I had a great opportunity to be a one of the exchange program student in United States of America for learning culture and tradition. I am kind of cheerful, easygoing, friendly, good humor, and able to co-exist with people of different ethnic groups or religions. Regarding my childcare experiences, I am now an Au Pair of American Host Family in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am taking care of 3 kids; 2 boys (7,4 years old) and 1 baby girl (2 years old). I am still living in with them almost 1 year. My duties is not only taking care of the three lovely kids, but also helping, cooking and doing everything as same as the member of the family do. Besides, I had been trained at Nursery Center and I had taken care of pre-school children. In addition, I have my niece being 3 years old who is the most beloved one in my family. She is adorable, easy to be familiar with and talkative. I had taken care of her 5 days a week for almost 2 years. My duties were bathing, diapering, feeding meal, preparing baby formula, putting her to bed and washing her bottles and nipples. As a result, I truly love being with children and I like working with them. I have an eagerness to learn and practice more about childcare. I believe the good experience is the key to success in the future and this experience will help me to grow. Therefore, I have decided to be Au Pair. Dear Host Family, Sincerely,I would not like to give you any kinds of propaganda at all but I'd love you to know me more as of one of Thai Aupairs. As you know it very well, Thais are well-known for their friendliness & great hospitality. Besides, we, Thai Aupair, are well chosen from any applicants with, at least, bachelor degree. I was already taught thousands of proper childcare methods in Bangkok and would be additionally trained in New York City before I'm ready to work for you. What all this means to you is that we, Thai Aupairs recruited from Thailand, will perform our best functions as competently as any European counterparts. Besides, Thai aupairs are much more likely than others to get along very well with you. Moreover, being raised in Thai culture gives me many attractive personal qualities. Politeness & restraint of negative emotions are highly values in the Thai society. Many visitors to Thailand find Thai people very easy to get along with. I'm polite and will go through surprising amount of trouble not to get into a quarrel. This can translate to a more cordial relationship between you and me. In addition, again due to upbringing, young Thais (and especially young women like me) are relatively conservative and so mature in my behavior.
