The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I love working with children - and i think being an au pair is an excellent way to combine doing what i love in the city i love - Paris. My French is very casic but my goal is to become fluent and I know that the best way to do this is to live and work in France. Being an au pair suits my character because although I am very independent I enjoy forming new relationships - I see it as becoming part of a new family for a year.

My Interests:

I am, as i said independent and know that the best au pair relationships work this way - I enjoy going to church and socialising and so this will be an important part of my time off in Paris. I also enjoy reading but my real passions are outdoors - from walking to cycling to swimming i enjoy being active and exploring my surroundings. I hope that the host family will have a bicycle I will be able to use!I am really close to my family and value and respect them very highly - as I will my new host family! Finally, I enjoy keeping up to date with current affairs both in the UK and in Europe - I was pleased to discover, when I was in Paris last, that the main UK newspapers print in Paris too!

Dear Family, If you live in Paris and would like a hardworking, dedicated and loyal girl to be responsible for your children's wellbeing when you are not available then please get in contact! I believe in being pro-active with children, in organising activities and games whilst giving them independence and space. From the family I want trust and respect. I have experience as an (unqualified) nanny and have done LOADS of babysitting. I have been babysitting since my two premature godsons were born many years ago - I am much more of a sister to them than a babysitter!! I have excellent relationships with all of the families I babysit and childmind for - you can have your pick of references. I have experience with both very young babies and older children but would prefer a position with young children if possible. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you!
