The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I would like to work as an Au Pair because I love children, I get on well with them, I’m calm and because I think the Au Pair Program has all I want and I like: work with children, live in a different country, improve my English (and maybe learn a new language), and, according to what I know (I have two friends who are being Au Pairs right now) I will have a little time to know places, to visit the museums etc. I’m really excited with the idea of being an Au Pair. I love talking with my friend Eveline, who is in Netherlands now being an Au Pair because she tells me all the good things and the important experiences she’s having there. Being an Au Pair is my biggest aim to this year. I know it involves a lot of difficulties too – as any kind of work -, but I’m ready to accept it and learn with all this.

My Interests:

I’m Thiago and I’m 22 years old (almost 23). I like playing games, taking pictures, jogging, literature, movies, cartoons. I’m just finishing my Master in Philosophy but lately I’ve been working as na English Teacher for children. I love philosophy and Languages, but I didn’t have the oportunity to teach philosphy to children in my country and as I was planning to work with them I thought I could teach English – although my English isn’t perfect, I can transmit all I learned studying this language. I’m a calm and really patient guy. If you want, I can send a recomendation letter from the School I teach. I’m also begining to help a friend who just had a baby: I’m helping her with childcares and she’s also teaching me all the details. Apart of that, I can cook quite well (I usually make my own food). If your family have pets, let me tell you I just love animals (I have two dogs).

Dear family, I have been planning to be an Au Pair the last months, but as I'm a man I couldn't find an agency here in my city that accept men to the program. But I found an agency (in another city) last year and I'm really changing my routine to go to another country. Anyway, I saw these sites that keep families & Au Pairs in touch and I thought it could be much easier trying to find a family here. I love children in all ages, I have children in my family and I have experience with children. Besides, I would like to live in another country for about one year because I love knowing other people and places.
