The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I think it is great to become a temporary family member outside your home country, somewhere, where every thing is new and little bit different. Communicating in foreign language is the best way to learn it and that is what I need to.

My Interests:

My name is Pavel. I am from Estonia, Tallinn.I can speak English, russian and estonian and I have some basic knwoledge of german. This year I have graduated secondary school and I wish to continue my study in Germany in area of economics and banking. But my german language skills are not so good to acsess one of the universities in Berlin. That is why I decided to work as an Au-pair in Germany. I think that is a great opportunity not just to increase my language skills, but also get use to country’s traditions and culture, find more friends and meet new people. My family and I live near the see in the capital of Estonia in the 2-stored house with a beatyful garden. My family consists of 5 person: Me, my father Arbo, mother Margarita, sister Olga and little brother Alex. All my family members, including me, like pets, espicially cats. We even have our own official cattery with different choices of breeds. We also like travelling, especially in summer times, when weather is nice and warm for our summer holidays. My brother is 5-year old andhe is attending kindergarden at the moment. He is so vigorous and unruly, that sometimes I keep thinking that energy inside him never get low; but anyway I do love him very much, he is etremely adorable and cute.. My sister, she a little bit older than me – she is 21. She is finishing bachelor degree in economics this year.She like camping very much and she do that several times in month with her good friends. My father (36) is working in a British embassy in Tallinn and he is a driver. He can speak many languages: finnish, english, russian, estonian, polish. My mother is very fond of sport, she is a physical culture teacher at secondary school. I have a grandmother too, but she does not live with us. She lives in Belorussia.I try to visit her every summer. I think that is enough about my family and I want to write you about my interests and hobbies. When I was a child I was very restless, so my mom decided that I should take some sport. My first sport activity was football, not just because it is the most popular sport in the world but just because I love this sport. And even now, when I grew up I can not stop playing and watching it on TV. But that is not all... I like windsurfing too. It is great when you can catch the wind and swim across the see on the winsurfing board. There are some other outdoor sport activities I like, but I have named most valuable ones for me. I do not have much spare time actually to sit at home and watch television. ...Yes I must be sounds silly, because television is a very popular indoor activity, but being glued to the „goggle box” for hours is not my idea of having a good time. Some of my classmates, thought, watch free or even four hours television a day. I think it is crazy! I watch it too, of course, but mostly news programmes. I prefer more going for a walk with my friends or with my family rather then sit at home playing PC games or watch TV. I have always been keen on photography. It gives pictorialrecords of our I like taking pictures of my family, my friends and some perticular events:birthdays, visits, trips, matches,and so on. I do not think I would ever become a proffesional photographer, but some of my pictures are very good. Few weeks ago happened a little disaster for me, my PC with all my photos (there were over 2000 of them) crashed down and it was awful stress for me. Many photos were priceless and I do not think I could recover them again. But live continues.... As it was written a little earlier in this letter, I am restless starting from my first bitrhday. I always do something: some house works, going for a walk with my friends (I have them a lot and it is difficult to say: «sorry, I am busy today.»), but if I do have some spare time I try to spend it playing with my little brother.And we have lot of fun spending it together when he is at home. I love nature and we often go for a walk in parks or at see coasts( when the weather is fine of course). Now the most difficult part of the letter – my character. I do not like talking and writing about myself, but almost assure that You do not know anythig about me. First of all, I like pets and all kinds of mamals, especially when they are babies. I like kids too, maybe that is because of my brother. But anyway it is not important for me is the child my brother or any other kid from the street – they are all cute when they are kids. I am punctual amd I never get late, sympathetic and I am always on my way to help my fiends and family members. Always cheerful as most of my friends say, they can never get bored with me around. Kind and friendly – actually I heard it many times from the girls, but I do not argue, that it is true. Purposeful, I always trying to get what i want no matter how. I always have a point and when I reach it at once comes another.Responsibility no matter where I am always with me. I like listening music very much, almost all kinds of genre, starding from techno ending with chill out. I have a massive collection of music CDs either, with lots of band and musicans from all over the world. But anyway I have some favorites: Enigma, Enya, Schiller, Café Del Mar, Metallica. My favorite movies are – Pirates of the Caribbean Sea, Brave Heart and Gladiator. I think these movies are perfect, I watched them many times and I am shore I will definitely see them again. The most recently asked question among my friends is that why I choose to continue my study in Germany. The answer is quite simple: I like Germany very much; I like German culture and traditions. I like this language and I wish to learn it by hard. And the biggest point is that I am always after for something new and unknown for me. All this makes me stronger spiritually and makes me believe in myself for further challenges. This summer I went for driving license courses and at early September I hope to get my driving license. In addition to all this I want to add that before making decision to be an Au-pair I was thinking about it for several months; and when I made my decision I was talking to ex-aupairers asking advices and gathering all possible information about this opportunity. I have strictly made my choice – I want to be an au-pair and I am shore I could handle, at least I will do my best. I do not have problems with my health and I do not have any allergies too. I do not smoke, but I do not mind if You do. I really hope that I will be the right person for you not just as an au-pair, but as temporary family member too.
