The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I have decide to stay in America for one year because I want to improve my English language skills. I have never been in the USA before and I am not able to wait to learn more about culture and traditions of Ameica. It is a carefully considered decision to leave my family, my friends and my native country to live in America. I feel confident that it will be a real positive experiece for me and my future.

My Interests:

In my spare time I read a lot of books and academic journals, meet my friends, go to the cinema and visit my family. I am a passionated cook, too. I love animals very much but my favourites are dolphins and cats. I am fascinated from the sea and its organism. I have a 19 years old boyfriend named Timo. He support me in my decision to stay in ameica for one year.

My name is Kim Jungblut and I am 18 years old. I live in Moers, a small town on the west side of Germany. I have one 17 years old sister named Dana. Dana still goes to school and we get on very well. My father works as a civil servant and my mother is an accountant. My whole family consits of 40 members. Our family relationship is very well. Last year I got my High Scholl Certificate 10yrs. After that I went to a secondery school-sitxh form. I have passed my driving test on 09.08.06. I drive every day, so I get enough driving experience. So far I haven’t had an accident. To get my driver’s license I had to make a first aid cours. I am very tolerant and in my opinion it is particularly important to show tolerance towards other cultures. I am open-minded, bright, helpful, very reliable, frienly, indipendent, ambitious, honest and considerately. For one and a half year I look after a small Boy named Luca. Today he is 2 years old. His mother is 19 and so she needs some help. I look after him 3 hours twice a week and my duties are to put him to bed, preparing meals, playing with him, change his nappy and sometimes to bath him. He is a very bright boy and so I have a lot of fun with him. For one year I look after the four children of a young family, too. I approximately look after them 5 hours twice a month. There is one girl named Deliah. She is 3 year old. The other 3 children are boys. Florian is 7 years old, Justin is 8 years old and Julian is 9 years old. My duties in this family are almost the same. Often it is very loud and chaotic, but they are great children and I manage it very good. I regulary look after my cousin for 7 years. Her name is Celine and she is 7 years old. I like to work with children and take care for them. I am very patient but I have also the wherewithal strictness.
