Dear Host Family, My name is Fernanda and I like people to call me “Nanda”, which is my nickname. I am 24 year-old. Among many characteristics I have, the one that best defines me is my love for my family, for children and for animals. I am very happy, outgoing and willing to help people. I am also caressing, patient, disciplined, dedicated, honest, and extremely loyal for those who I love. I live in Campinas, which is a very beautiful city, surrounded by malls and where the best universities of the country are located. Campinas is close to São Paulo, one of the biggest cities in the world. I am a fashion jewelry designer. I've been working in my family's business for six years. Everyday I meet new people, and it is very easy for me to keep a relationship with them. I am a very creative artist. I LOVE animals, I have an aquarium with some goldfish and two dogs and I spend most of my free time playing with them. . My special skill is cooking, I can cook typical Brazilian food and other delicious things that I hope you will like!! I am very lucky to have four beautiful nephews and nieces. They are Peter, Sophia, Maria Luiza, and Diogo. Their ages range from 2 month old to 2 year-old. I take care of all of them with a lot of dedication and care, because I know this is fundamental for a child to feel loved. I give them bath, prepare their food and juices, change their dippers, make them burp, sing lullabies before their bed time. The experience of living abroad as an au pair will be a brand new experience in my life. Living with an another family and learn the country's culture, besides improving my English and learn with new experiences to become a better person.
