The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I am currently completing my final year of High School, which I finish in early November 2007, and I would like to defer my university studies for a year. I would like to work as an Aupair for a minimum of 3 months and up to 12 months. I enjoy trying new things and would like to experience culture and family life in a different country. I am a friendly, happy person and I have a good sense of humour and am able to adapt to different situations. I work hard at school in order to achieve highly and I am well organised. I also have a casual job at a bakery, and can readily interact with diverse groups of people. I enjoy travel, nature and I have a love for animals. I am available to aupair up to February 2009. I can start in late December 2007.

My Interests:

Since the beginning of 2006, I have visited a Primary School for a few hours once a week where I help the teachers with their classes. I am often required to take a group of up to 6 children and work with them, keeping them on task and interested in the activities. I do some babysitting from time to time which I enjoy. I also have several young cousins ranging in ages from 2 to 8 years and I enjoy interacting and playing with them. I love to travel and meet new people and have new experience. I love nature, and enjoy animals and the outdoors. I work hard at school and achieve highly.

Dear Family, Hello! My name is Adriana and I am in my final year of Senior High School. I am the youngest of 3 girls, and my parents are both High School teachers. I am very enthusiastic about the possibility of being an aupair in another country as I have recently participated in a student exchange program in Switzerland where I attended school and lived with my host family for nine weeks. This was a very positive experience for me as I easily adapted to living away from home, enhanced my French language skills, and gained a sense of independence. I would like to be considered as your new Aupair as I would bring skills and abilities to serve you well, all with happiness of course. I would like to live with a family who speaks french at home, even if they are not living in a french speaking area or country. I have studied french at highschool for four years now and am able to maintain conversation, however I wish to become fluent in this language. (However, I am always up for a challenge and I would consider going somewhere else! :-D )
