The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

There's nothing better than seeing the different places and cultures the world has to offer and meeting new people. I grew up with two younger brothers, meaning I have unbeatable experience with kids haha, have had experience in elementary/pre schools and surely am very independent. My mother and father often were away from home, busy working etc, so I know all about cooking, cleaning, washing, caretaking and all the other things it takes when there are kids to look after. I am a responsible yet outgoing girl, looking forward to giving child(ren) someone to rely on and have a laugh with, someone they will not want to miss. Working with children is rewarding, puts a smile on your face and let's you know you're doing something good. I am just ready to go out, face a new challenge and make some great new friends!

My Interests:

I am a very outgoing girl who loves to laugh, but is serious and focused when needed to be - a very important thing when it comes to child care. Personally, I love music, exploring the world and it's cultures, meeting new people, reading, writing, animals, cooking etc. I would say I have many hobbies that come as an advantage and which the kids might be interested in. It's great to be able to show someone a new culture and new opportunities.

Hi there! My name is Monique van Son, I am 20 years old, have my Fachabitur (meaning I finished 12th grade) and currently live in Germany. "Currently" because I have moved a lot (Born in the Netherlands, lived in the USA and now Germany), and I love it!
