The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I really would like to be an au - pair because I love children. Its the simplest reason for becoming an au - pair but it is the truth. In my future I'll always work with kids together... as I already did in the past. :-) I raised up my now 11 year old sister Merle and I also do babysitting for 8 - 9 years now. The oldest child in my babysitting family is now 12 years old so that she would be able to care for her younger sister and brother on her own but she loves me that much that I always have to come around when mum and dad are out. But it's not only the interest in children but the curiosity about a new culture in a new country with a totally different lifestyle.

My Interests:

I'm dutiful, warm - hearted, open, nice but also consequent. I think I know what children are allowed to do and at which point they have to stop. But I'm only as rigid as you are to your kids ;-) All in all I guess it's not very hard to have to life with me :-) My hobbys are watching soccer, cooking, having fun with my friends, reading.... and so on..

Dear family. I'm a 19 year old german girl who just passed her exams for the A - level (as you would say in the UK).After I had leaving school I really would like to come to you for 3 to 6 or even 8 months as an au - pair. In April 2008 I'll start my training as a midwife and so you see that I really love babys and children. I just had found a family in the UK who was very, very nice. I vistied them for a weekend and we had a great time together but they descided that they don't want to have an au - pair at all and so I hope that I'll find another great family. I would be happy with a nice, happy, funny family from Great Britain or Ireland. I live in the north of Germany (near Hamburg) and I've a big family with two sisters, two brothers, two sisters - in - law, my niece, my grandmum, my father, my boyfriend, one cat, one horse and one hamster. We all live together and I really like to be together with them although is is not always easy with such a lot of people. When my mum died in 2000 after one year of fighting against her cancer we all were very depressed and sad. But we all keep together and have made the best of this bad thing.
