Dear Family :)
My name’s Barbara (Basia). I’m looking for a host family for the 2008’s holidays, approximately from June to September. At the time I’ll be 18. Regardless of my age I can honestly say that I’m a sensitive, good-tempered and responsible person. I love children and I always do my best trying to make them feel happy. I’m open-minded and sociable, adjusting to new situations has never been a problem for me. People who know me often say that I’m mature over my age which doesn’t keep me from being a happy and crazy girl (in a positive way).
My hobbies: English (I’ve never had any problems with it at school and I really love it so there shouldn’t be any problems with communication between us :)), movies (theatre also), music (but I’m not particularly keen on hip-hop and rap), volleyball, running and riding a bike. Recently I’ve started playing the guitar (though I’m no Carlos Santana :)). In the future I’d like to start horse riding which always fascinated me. I’m currently improving my cooking skills so that I could be more helpful in the future. I’m very into psychology (which I really hope to study in the future to become a professional counselor) and chemistry/biology.
I’m a high school student taking my Maturity Exam soon. I’d like to be a part of your family, help you with kids, some houseworks and pets if you have any (personally that’d be great!). I’m a person that really appreciates kindness and support. I want to do something creative that could provide me a great life-long experiences, meet new people, visit new places.
I have a dual citizenship: Polish and German (along with passports so I don’t need any visa). Religion different from the one I practice isn’t any problem to me. I don’t smoke. Of course feel free to ask me any questions!
