The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I enjoy beeing with children of all ages and I would like to spend 3-8 weeks during my summer break in a nice and friendly family in order to either teach English or German to their children or just to play and have fun with them. I am very kind with children and am very humorous and outgoing.

My Interests:

I am 38yrs old and I work as an English teacher in Germany. I teach English to children from the age of 4 as well as adults in in-house trainings in companies. In my spare time I sing in a gospel choir, go jogging or go for a walk. I have two lovely nieces aged 5 and 9 but unfortunately no children of my own yet. Yet? You think I´m too old? Oh no, I´m quite fit, I´m a non-smoker and I´m very optimistic, so it will probably still work out.

Hello, My name is Heike and I am from Germany. I am from a big city called `Dortmund´ which is quite well-known by football fans but this season we didn´t do that well... I would like to spend some time during my summer break in a kind and friendly family to teach English or German to their children, be a nanny or/and help in the house. I can cook but honestly it´s not brilliant French cuisine. So I would prefer cooking not to be my main task. I turned 38 last month and I hope this is not too old to be a summer nanny! :-) I spent one year as an au-pair in an English/American-family in 1990/1991 and I worked for Disney world, Florida from 1992-1993. I am still in touch with my former au-pair family and usually visit them every summer to look after their house when they go to Spain. I`m looking forwar to hearing from you! Heike
