Dear Family In 2005, I spent three months in the position of Au Pair / Nanny for a family in New Jersey. This was my second season with the McGills as I had previously spent five months working for them in the 2003. This position of Au Pair / Nanny, entailed considerable responsibility - caring for a boy (11) and a girl (13), as their parents were both professional people who often worked long hours – thus it was my task to prepare the children for school, attend school activities, attend sporting activities, prepare meals, maintain a strict homework schedule, drive a vehicle provided solely for my position, and maintain household management at the optimum level.
