I’m Karla Schuelter, I’m 22 years old I have been living Rio Fortuna city with my family, which I have three brothers, Ramom, Rafael and Robson, very important people to me. My father Milton is teacher, and he is a hard-worked and an honest man, and my mother Rosimeri is a Nurse, she is lovable and a easy going. My family has always been close together, and we had to fight to achieve our goals. I ha studied, until I graduated in High School in Rio Fortuna City, and just last year I finished college, majoring in International Relations. I have always loved to study, to work, to be independent, and I have been surrended with good friends. I like to pratic sports, to watch movies, to read books. With the programme, I will beable to take care of children, which is something that I deeply love to do. For long time, I have had the interesting to go to the U.S. to study and have the opportunity to live with an American family to learn in each day, their habits, and their way of living. I do believe that the Au Pair Pragramme will provide me experience that will result in opportunities in my professional and personal.

Dear Host Family I’m Karla Schuelter, I’m 22 years old I have been living Rio Fortuna city with my family, which I have three brothers, Ramom, Rafael and Robson, very important people to me. My father Milton is teacher, and he is a hard-worked and an honest man, and my mother Rosimeri is a Nurse, she is lovable and a easy going. My family has always been close together, and we had to fight to achieve our goals. Saying a little more of my city: Rio Fortuna is a small and hospitable city, is excellent of liveing, but as all small city, it does not offer many chances of professional growth. The weather is pleasant here, the city is located next to the coast, and of beautiful beaches, that I frequent constantly. In the generality the city is excellent and I hope to can to count more on particularitities for my hostfamily. On weekends my house is always full with my uncles, aunts and cousins, we are a big and united family. I love these weekends, they are always very livened up and amused, mainly when my younger cousins come also. I adore the joy and expontaneidade of the children, we amuse us a lot and I am surprised with the fastness with which they grow and are smarter each day. Moreover, my hobby is to read. I love to read since I was a child, I think that the reading is very important to develop the creativity and to instigate the search for new knowledges. I encourage the children to read and I believe that the best way to do this is counting histories to them to awake the curiosity for books, what it comes giving great results. I also adore to travel and to know new places and new cultures, I am a person livened up and opened to the new experiences. I graduated in Sptember of the 2006 in the course of International Relations. The University was for me a period of great learning and accomplishment, but also of very effort, because since the first year, I paid the monthly by myself. With certainty all the work was rewarded by the knowledge that I acquired, and that I intend to use with the children, as for example, the negotiation and the creativity for together to discover new tricks, innovating each day, in intention to sharpen the creativity of them. I still intend, in this year in U.S.A., to study. This is very important for me, to join the learning of a new culture and the perfectioning of the English to many studies, using still my experience with children in Brazil to the children in U.S.A. My diverse hours of care with children had been incredible, the children have much to teach for us. The many hours of diversion and tricks will be always in my memory: the bicycle strolls, the hour to paint and to draw, the tricks of hide and seek, innumerable histories counted, the soccer games and are clearly the demonstrations of affection. I hope to can to repeat everything this in the program Au Pair, to become this one year in abroad more unforgettable. I still hope, to be more than another Au Pair in the life of hostfamily, I will give best of me to be deserving of much affection and excellent memories. I intend, at last, to teach new tricks to the children and not only take care of their necessities, but also, to educate them.
