The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

For me, living with a family is the best way to really get to know all the aspects of the culture: everyday we learn something from each other, and the children are wonderful on that point! I still remember vividly all the funny conversations I had with the boys, always explaining something about school or the new monsters/cars/movies or anything else fantastic they had in their world! I'm very happy to be a part of a childhood and helping to grow a human being.

My Interests:

My name is Olivia and I live in a big city (over 3 million inhabitants) in Brazil, with my mother and brother, who's 12 years old. We're very bonded, and all the time we spent together provided me some experience in childcare. Currently I study History at the university, but I recently came back from Germany, where I stayed for one year (july/06 to july/07) also as aupair of two boys aged 6 and 10. I was a wonderful opportunity to learn a lot about a new culture, to travel and meet loads of people. I love to read, watch movies (specially going to the cinema), going out with friends, picnics, travelling, cycling.
