The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

Later I read lots about the au pair's program and I think that I am ready to go. I know most part of legislation about au pair in Europe and USA and alsomy duties and rights. I consider advantageous for all this program. I'm very happy, as all Brazilian people. We are glad and we have an always smiling. Therefore I think that I will contribute in the joy and diversion of the children. I live alone about 4 years and I have responsibility with my obligations. My family live in other state, Minas Gerais and I miss them much. I live in Araraquara, SP, because I study here. Before I finished my studies I would like to live a new experience. Being au pair I think that I will have dificulties as a stranger place and I will live the wonder of coexist with children. I will expand my idea of world and I will be important for people and kids. I am very anxious to this day arrives!

My Interests:

My life is very interesting in Brasil, I'm from Minas Gerais State, but I came to Araraquara to study in a Sao Paulo public university, I'm in 4th year of Economy. IÂ´m working in the University, with an educational management project. I love live in Brasil and I intend to come back here to continue my life. I want work with ecological economy, because I love the nature and I think that we depend on it. You know the natural beauty of Brasil. Most difficult to me will be leave my boyfriend here in Brasil, but I think that work as an au pair will be very important stage in my life. I miss my family so much, but by the years I accustom me with the distance. About me I can say some thinks. I'm patient, calm and softly. I like travel and take information about other cultures. I love children. I have knowledge in English. I have drive's license. I'm very much happy! In this year I decided to get more experiences before get my curse concluded. I get informations about au pairs and now I know lots about it like rules, how to be and etc. I figured out that being an au pair I can get more than I intend. In this year my class will finished in December, therefore I will travel in January of 2008. I have lots of things to talk about me, but to the first contact I think is enough. Thank you!

Dear family, The decision of be an au pair is delicate to anybody, however isn't more difficult than the family´s decision to contract a stranger au pair to care their sons. The stranger causes fear and curiosity, involves risks and learning, demands of both parts very maturity and responsibility. Because I know that is important to you trust in the person who will care your kids, I´ll tell you lots of things about me. My life, what I like, my qualities, habits, what I hope of future etc. I hope that I can do you know me a little. Currently I live in Araraquara, São Paulo´s country city. i´m living here about 4 years. I was born in Santos, São Paulo´s coast and I lived in Cambuquira – Minas Gerais State with my relatives and brothers. I lived there until i was 18, so I came to Araraquara to study Economy in the public university of São Paulo. I'm 4th year of curse. When I lived with my relative helped them at home, because hadn't maid. I washed the dishes, take dogs care and i even cooked. So, after I came to live alone, I hadn't any difficulties to care me and my house. What I can say about me is that I'm very organized and clean with my things. My bedroom, my bathroom, my house, is always cleaned and organized. How I already live 4 year far relative's house, I used to coexist with the miss. I don't suffer about it and i think about all this with lots of care. I call them once for week and I visit them sometimes, but is far from here. I started to search about the au pair's program 3 years ago and I read lots about. In this year I decided to participate in this program. I have 2 friends that went to EUA like an au pair and all they say is very interesting and this makes me enthusiastic about this idea. The knowing other places idea, new cultures, when I know nobody and nobody speaks my language make me very interested. And more interesting than this is to know that my day will do filled with the best presence of word: The children! To care of children is the most interesting and did me to select this program. Since I was little, my favorite play was mom's play, and I took care of my toys, how it was true. I change them diapers, took a shower on it, gave them baby's bottle, sang lulabys. I remember that I liked to play to be an teacher too, and teach my dolls. After I grew, the desire to be mother arose, but in the last years I think in to give up of this dream, because this have been each time more difficult in my country with the real necessary conditions. Because I'm young, I don't know what will be my thinking in 8 or 9 years. I hope my country get better so I can carry through my biggest dream and I would gave to my next generation a little of me.
