The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

For the last year I've worked as a substitute at a school with children from 6 to 13 years. I had classes on my own with the children where I had to make a schedule for the day. I teached for exampel Maths, Swedish and English. Something I find very important when your working with children is that you are educational and see the different needs for every child and that you make the teaching fun. I've also worked as a Nursing assistan at a Nursing Home parallel to my High school studies. I' still working as a Nursing assistant. I worked in the restaurant business of and on for 2 years from age 15 till I was 18 after that I started working as Nursing assistant which I feel gives me more. I have also had practical training at a day care with children that barely are 1 year old up till 3 years. I enjoy working with people, mainly with children. Because you get to be a part of their growth and development. This is why I see It as great possibility going to USA and working as a Auper/nanny. To work with children which I love and to do It in another country where I can gain experience and learn about another culture an be able to share my experience from my culture.

My Interests:

Hello! My name is Frida and I'm 20 years old. I'm born and raised in a town called Gothenburg on the west side of Sweden. I have had calm and safe growth with my family. I graduated from High school about 1,5 year ago after I went Esthetic Theater. I'm a very creativ person who loves to stand on stage and work with my body, I also had a lot of dans classes which was on my schedule. When I'm not on stage myself one of the things I enjoy most is seeing different dance and theater shows. My big passion is traveling, this year I've been away on some trips. Last year I was in USA and lived in New Jersey and New York for 3 months, where I lived the big city life which I loved. I stayed for a while with a famlily of 4, the parents and their 2 boys age 6 and 9. As thank that they let me stay there I helped the family a lot with taking care of the children. This trip made me grow as a person, to go away on my own and experience new things. New is a city I enjoyd living in. My sister has lived in Spain for a few years and I've visited her about 10 times a month at a time. I've been away with my family for a ski trip and abroad every year since I was a child. For exampel I've been in Africa, Greece, France, Spain, Egypt, Italy, Monaco and som other places. My biggest hobby is animals, a specialy horses. Much of my spare time I spend at the stable with my horse. I've had a horse for the bigest part of my life which I've also trained and competed with. As I wrote earlier, I've been skiing and I try to go on a ski trip once a year. As a person I'm very social and outgoing and always have people around me, thanks to my big family with 18 cousins and their 15 kids between ages 2 months up to 15 years. So I always have kids to watch and take care of and that come knocking, wanting to spend time with their "big" cousin. Two of my closest friends that also are my neighbors recently have had children, so on my spare time I've spend a lot of time with them and their children.
