Family Letter:

Dear prospective Family, Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and considering me as a possible Au Pair for your family. Ive recently completed my HSC (2007) and am looking to gain more experience working with children during my Gap Year (2008). In 2009 i plan to attend university to study Primary Education , as teaching and spending time with children is my passion. I have had experience caring for young cousins and have had a steady job as a babysitter for a family with two young boys aged 1 and 3 years old. Therefore i am confident with babies and young children. I have also had experience with special needs children, as my mother works as an aide for austic children and i have helped out occasionally at the school she works at and we also provide respite for autistic children at home. I am more then happy to complete housework. I have experience working with people and in teams and groups, through my current job as a Retail Assitant at Target and my previous job as a Retail Assistant at Rockmans. I am looking to start a job in January 2008. At this time i will only be 17 years of age, but i am very mature, responsible and i believe i am very capable of looking after your children. I do have my licence and drive responsibly and with care at all times. I look forward to hearing from you, and hopefully one day soon meeting, caring for and helping your family in every way i can.
