The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I enjoy family life and like to gain experiences in another culture. I love children and work with them summer camps, sitting. I also think that a one year trip to the USA is the best way to improve my English and to learn more about a new culture. I am an open, honest and satisfied person and like to see children growing up and be a part of their lives as a teacher and a friend. In the future I plan to become a teacher or chose another job in which I can support people. I am looking forward to gain new experiences to make the right decisions for my future life when I will be back in Germany. I think an Au Pair exchange is a great experience and interesting way to be more self-confident, to get different impressions of the world, to learn more about a different culture, to improve another language and to meet nice and open minded people. I am curious to spend a lot of time with a family in close contact, help in everyday life and be a member of the family for one year. I am caring for children since I was 14 years old.It always makes a lot of fun and I am very satisfied in doing this! I like it to play games with them, caring for them and spend time with them. I like it to meet other people, learn more about different cultures and live in a family. Because of this I think it would be perfect for me to become an Au Pair.

My Interests:

I am an open, honest, responsible, caring, warm hearted, very funny and creative person who likes to spend a lot of time outside, go jogging or for a walk, reading, playing games with children and telling stories, go to the cinema and spend time with friends or family members. I am also a good listener and try to help people with their problems. I like it to meet new people and it is easy for me to feel confident and happy. I love animals and children! Family Letter:

Dear Familie! At first I wish you a Happy New Year! I hope you will spend a good time together at the end of the year and enjoy it! My name is Eva Nowack, I`m 18 years old, will finish my school in June 2008 and live in Witten, a city in the Western of Germany. I´m living here with my family in our three generation house! To my family belong my grandmother Isolde, my grandpa Lysander, Johannes, who is mother’s partner, my mother Martina, my twin sister Luise 18, and Yves 7 who is my brother of force and lives with us since October 2005. Our three dogs, Jule 6, Artus 13 and Bonita 1 also stay with us. Johannes’s two children Katrin 23 and Sven 19 live in Darmstadt, that is about 200 miles away from our home. They study at the Technical University at Darmstadt. Katrin is married since April 2006. My mother is a professor for psychology in Dortmund, which is a city near Witten. Johannes is a professor of civil engineering at the University of Darmstadt. You can see that we are a big family and we are very close to one another. So it was not difficult for us to care for my great-grandmother until she died in 2005 at an age of 92 at home. Family life is very important for me and I enjoy it if the whole family is sitting together. I love animals and sometimes we are looking for another dog or another animal we can “rescue”! I am a very open, warm hearted, funny, honest, caring, self-confident, creative and responsible person and like it to be outside, go jogging, spent times with friends or children or my family, play games with children and go for a walk. I am very interested in learning more about different cultures, meet new people and teaching other people about my own culture! I love fairytales and like to think new stories up. It is very funny for me to take roles from the stories and act together with my friends. I am a creative person and always have a lot of new and interesting ideas. So staying with me will never be boring!!! Additionally I am a good listener to my sister’s and friends problems. I am working/caring for children since I was 14 years old and it always makes a lot of fun! I like to see them develop and to be a part of there lives. When Yves came to our family he was very shy, afraid, and disturbed. Now, 2 Years later he has developed to a curious pupil and has overcome his main problems regarding language and social contact! All in all he is a very satisfied and open child. For me it is great to see that and to know that I could help him as his big sister, teacher and friend. It would be nice for me to be the same for your children. Actually I sometimes feel that I can not waitto go to America, to meet a new family and spend a lot of time with the different family members. I hope that I can become a part of this family for the year I will visit the United States!
