The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

Because I love them and :) Earlier experiences. My interest for taking care of children began when I worked as an intern during upper level school. My first year at high school I went on the society program. After a year, I knew that this program was not right for me so I decided to change course and began therefore studies to become a Nursing assistant. I studied for three years to become a Nursing assistant. During my studie years I also worked a lot because I had moved from home. Since I still was interested of people and children I began to work a lot for a friend and relatives to the family, that needed help with child care. I worked with this during the whole face of my High school years in order to work together little additional money. I did this mainly on weekends and evenings. I began in 2002 taking care of a 9 year old girl until 2007. Earlier experiences are of course my 6,5 year younger brother and my second cousin, whom I also took care of during this period. During my education, I have also worked with older people and have experience on among other thing the psychiatric department and surgent department on the hospital. Since I have read to nursing assistant direction psychiatry I also have certificets on CPR rescue and also life rescue, I have also read studies about emergency care and have also delt with medecins and have read a lot about care that has everything from morals and ethics to taking care of the people. I do also work extra on the northern school on a low and middle school. These children are 6-12 years and this is something I enjoy very much and can imagine myself working with in the future

My Interests:

As a person I'm very open, spontanius, out going. I love challenges and like to examine and experince new things. I learn fast and I'm flexible. On my spare time I spend a lot of time in the stable, I have owned a horse for the bigger part of my life but now I take care of a friends horse. As a child I competed and accustomed a lot with horses but I ended It when I sold my full blood two years ago.I love to swim and competed also in this as young, this is something I gladly do even today when I have time. Otherwise, I socialize with my friends and my family and do a lot of various things with them. One of my biggest interests is traveling, I try to travel and see as many places I can. As a child I traveled a lot with my parents and I am thankfull for this because I have seen lots of new places and learned about different coultures. I also have traveled with my friends.

My name i sofia schemmel and come from a small town Uddevalla, on the west side of Sweden. I am born in Stockholm but have lived for 17 years in Uddevalla. Here, I have gone in compulsory education and the upper secondary school then I studied to Nursing assistant. I live in a house with my mum Christel, father Hans and little brother Marcus who is 14 years old. I have lived with them for 20 years and have had a normal safe growth.
