My work and volunteering experience is varied and I have cared for and babysat with children of all ages ranging anywhere from 6 months to 15 years old. I have also worked with many children who have had special needs or developmental problems. I have cared for many children for the last 10 years by preparing meals, cleaning the house, engaging in indoor and outdoor fun activities, teaching various sports or teaching children how to swim, and helping children with homework assignments. I have acquired many skills and experiences; which can be transferred to a nanny position within your home. I love to interact and entertain children as I am still quite young myself (23 years old) which means I have a lot of energy and patience when it comes to kids! I have recently graduated from the University of Ottawa with a double major honors degree in Criminology and Psychology. I have also just completed my teaching English as a second language certificate course and am in the process of completing the young learners course. I have also completed a babysitters training course. I love to make crafts, play games, swim, and I love the outdoors! I would love to move to a different country to get a feel for a different culture and perhaps pick up a different language.
