The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

To improve my English and live an exchange experience with an American family. Above all, I love kids and it will be a pleasure to work with them.

I've just graduated in languages, (Teaching Portuguese). I have two sisters, I live with them, my father and my stepmom. My mom has passed away when I was 8. My stepmom is great, I really love her as my real mom. I love pets and children, I had worked as a nanny and as a party monitor (dealing with, enterteining kids)

. . Dear Family! My name is Ana. I'm 25 years old. I've just finished college, I'm graduated in Portuguese and Literature Teaching. In my course I've learned a little bit about English and its literature too. I intend working as an English teacher in my country, so that I'm studyind this language. I've heard about the AuPair program and though it could be a great oportunity of improving my English and live another culture, live an exchange experience with a real american family. I love kids. While I was studying I've worked as a nanny and also as a party monitor in a company who was specialized in kids parties. I had to entertain kids from 2 to 12 years-old with games, story telling and a lot of fun. As a nanny I had to take care of a little girl, "Gabi", while her mom was at work. I had to pick her up at school, feed her, help her with her homework and sometimes put her to sleep (on weekends, when her parents used to go out). I have two sisters. My mom died when I was 8 years old and my father married a very nice woman, which I really love as a mother. My father is an engineer, Pamela, my sister, is 19, she's studying to be an engineer too. Paloma is 10 and she's very smart and talkative. We live in a small town but we're only 2 hours from Sao Paulo, the biggest city of Brazil. We're also two hours far from Ubatuba, a beautiful sea city. In my free time I like to visit my friends, my grandma, watch movies, listening to music, swwim and go out for walks. I want to be an AuPair in a family which will accept me as a family member. I'm very good with kids, and I'm really hardworking. I can drive very well, I don't have my own car but my father allows me to use his. My cousin, who is also my best friend, is going to be an AuPair too, she's found a lovely family in Wayne, New Jersey. Her English is better than mine and she helped me to write this letter. I ask interested families to e to communicate better. I promess that the first thing I'm going to do in America is look for an English course. This is my main goal, so, I expect that the fact that I can't speak English very well (yet!!) won't be a problem. I can be a great AuPair, I just need a chance to prove.
