The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I like working and playing with children very much and I want to improve my english and my knowledge about the culture in view of my future career. Furthermore I want to see the world and gain new expieriences. I think to work as an au-pair is the perfect possibility to connect these points!

My Interests:

My name is Sophie and I´m 20 years old. In October 07 I started studying english and politics to become a primary-school teacher. I´m a happy, cheerful and active girl, I love going swimming, to cinemas, museums, going out in general...I would descirbe myself as a very open-minded and friendly person. My hobbies are having good conversations, meeting friends, cooking, listening to- and making music, going to concerts, travelling... I've several expierences with children because of my job, internships at our local kindergarten and babysitting for friends and family. In addition to that I gave private lessons to children and teenagers since I was 16 years old. I´m a happy person that likes to laugh and I also enjoy my work, I´m working in a primary school once a week. There I teach young chlidren in english and other subjects, it's a lot of fun for me. In the interaction with children I always keep my nerves even when it becomes a bit chaotic. I like cooking very much and housework, washing and ironing will be no problem for me. My family has two dogs, I am expierenced with animals and animal-loving.

Dear families, I hope to find a nice familiy on this way, where I be needed during my holidays in 2008 and 2009 from Feb-April or in the summermonths July-October.As an English student who is going to become a teacher I would like to improve my language and knowledge about Britain by spending time there. Regrettebly I do only have time for short periods of 1-3 months because of my studies. I hope this will not be a problem and you need me for a shorter period.
