Dear Family, Good Day!! I'm Ivy Tesoro, native Filipina, 23 yrs old, single. As a person, I'm very friendly,independent,sweet,responsible and open minded. I'm eager to learn and discover new things because it helps to develop my personality. A lot of people say that I'm approachable and fun to be with. When I have free time I usually go to my friends, surf to the internet, read books and cook filipino dishes. I love sports and music. If i have time I play badminton,volleyball and defenitly love to swim. Presently, I'm working in Belgium as an aupair. I'm taking care of two lovely and sweet kids, Jutta is 3 yrs old going 4 this March and Senna, 6 months old. My host father is a Lawyer and my host mom is Accountant, they are working full time, from Monday to Friday. I'm the one who is responsible for the kids and the household chores such as, laundry and ironing,cooking,tidying and cleaning. Aside from that, I put the kids in bath, in bed, prepare their food, and play with them. We always have quality time together. I treat them as my own children. They are very sweet to everybody. I'm working here from Monday to Friday, and sometimes if they need me during the week ends I work also. Last year,I worked also in Hollond for one year as an aupair. I took care of a new born baby. My host parents are both working full time. I look after the baby the whole day fron Tuesday to Saturday. My task there include laundry and ironing, cleaning up after meal,cooking and ofcourse my main priority is the baby. I put her in bath, dressed and fed her. She loves to walk and play outside. Normally, before she go to bed I often read a story for her. She is a very sweet girl, I treated her as my own daughter. It's a nice feeling that I saw her growing up. Untill now, we still have communication. In fact, I often visit them in the week ends. The good thing is, she still recognizes me and she can say my name now. Whenever she sees me, she keeps on hugging and kissing me the whole time we're together. About my family, they are living in the Philippines. My parents have their own business, they sell foods in the market. I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters. I'm the eldest in the family. When my parents were not at home, I took care of my brothers and sisters. I also helped my mom in household chores. At an early age, I learned about the meaning of hardwork. Most often, I went to the market to helped her after school. As regards to my educational background, I studied Computer Science in STI College. Due to high demand of Caregivers in foreign country I decided to take a Caregiving course in Skill Power Institute. I was trained in the Hospital,Orphanage, and Rehabilitation Clinic. I was exposed to different kind of people. That was a great experience and I can consider an achievement somehow, because I learned a lot while helping people who need my care and service. Experiencing the way of life here in Europe has change my personality positively in a way that I'm more independent,mature and responsible in most things that I do. Meeting different kind of people, learning how to live in a foreign country and knowing their culture is a great opportunity for me. Not everybody has given a chance to go out from their own country. That's why, I grab every wonderful opportunities that come along my way. This is one way to achieve my goal and at the same time to give my family a better way of life. Everyday is a learning process. Each day of my life, I encounter ups and downs which make me stronger and better person who can face a greater challenge which will come ahead.
