My Interests:

I am polite, responsible, helpful, reliable, caring, creative and interested in other cultures, who likes children a lot. Because I am interested in other cultures, I traveld to Ghana to work as a volunteer for 4 weeks in summer 2006. There I lived and worked together with Ghanaen adolecents. During our economic work we helped different people like a countrymen by creating their bananaplantation. Because of living together with the Ghanaen adolescents I got to know their cultures in a better way, which was very important to me.

Dear host family, My name is name is Claudia 19 years old and i am original from Berlin, Germany. There I lived with my parents in a house with a nice, small garden. I have a older sister who is studing biotechnology in an other town. I passed my A-level June 2007. In October 2007 I started my Au Pair year in Washington, DC. Where I take care of 2 children, a boy 4 month old 9 month now and a girl 4 years old. I was the first Au Pair in this family and after a while the family and I decide it would be better for me if I would continue my year with an other family but my Hostmom is willing to talk to the next Hostfamily. I am available from April. I am around children my hole life, because of my big family. I have a lot of small cousins which I like to be around and enjoy our family celebrations. For this reason I did one internship in my schooltime and 2 last year. There I got experience with children from 8 month to 7 years. We had a lot of fun,I played, tinkered and sung with the children or played with a ball outside. During Au Pairwork i took a walk, went to the playground, zoo or museum with the children or we played at home games, with Dolls or made a tea party.
