The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I am currently a student at the University of Southern California. Before I graduate, however, I have decided to take a year off in order to travel outside the United States and gain a new perspective of the world around me. The reason I would love to become the Au Pair for your family is because I value above all time spent learning, growing, and sharing. I want to, more than anything, be able to find a family to learn with, grow with, and share with. To have fun! To explore new places! And to create a life-time friendship. Though I have never been an Aupair before, I have worked with children all my life. Throughout my teens I babysat for several families. I was the nanny for one family, which meant I cooked, cleaned and cared for their children on a weekly basis. I have also worked in several daycares with multiple children ages 0-13 and have volunteered to work with children through many different programs.

My Interests:

Overall, I am an artistic, intelligent and outgoing person, with a love for travel, books, and people. The child in me still comes out in my love for any adventure! I love bike-rides, days spent on the beach, hiking, and playing. I also love movies and games, and anyone who will watch a movie or play a game with me! I adore pets. Growing up my family delighted in dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds... every one of them was considered a part of our family! When I am not reading or studying, I also love to cook. Living in Italy has brought the Italian chef out in me. My favorite past time, however, is baking. I am known to bake cakes for every freind's birthday, prepare cookies for parties, or whip up some delicious creation for a game-night with friends! My perfect day would be spent with the people I love on a beach somwhere, with good food and good wine. There is nothing better than enjoying the beauty of the sea with the sun out and good company by your side! I am just happy to exist. After my experience as an Aupair, I plan on returning to school in California and graduating from USC. I hope the time spent with my family will have opened my eyes to new possibilities and prepared me that much more for the life ahead of me.
