I would like to work as an Au Pair because I want to improve my english level and especially I would like to care for children.

My Interests:

I am currently studying at EME environmental engineering school in Rennes in Nord West of France. When I am not studying in Rennes, I live with my family in Cherbourg. I have no problem with taking care of the children or baby when the parents are not here, making sure they are safe, reading, bathing, playing etc. I have the AFPS, the equivalent of First Aid Worker’s diploma, my driver’s license and I’m hard-working. I love the sea and sea sports, reading, cooking and sciences.

Dear family, Hello my name is Amélie Leblanc, I am 23 years old and I search a summer job during one or two months, near Portsmouth. I will be available from the beginning of July and I will be happy to take care of your children. When I have 17 years old, I toke the BAFA Brevet d’Aptitude à la Fonction d'Animateur, the Child minding Certificate equivalent. From then on, I have looking after children every summer: Last year, in the summer months, I’ve been camp supervisor working with teenagers aged between 14 and 18 years old in summer camp. The two previous summers, I looked after children between 12 and 18 years old in summer camps in France. Previously, I was outdoor camp counselor in a leisure center for children between 3 and 12 years. I also have years experience of "babysitting" for family friends and I take care of the niece of my boyfriend since she was born. She’s now 14 months. I believe that I would be a good counselor, as I am obliging, enthusiastic, sensible and good with children. I think that I would be good company for the parents, as well as your assistant with domestic chores and general help with the children where and when it is necessary! I would want to feel part of the family during my stay and I would hope that you would appreciate my company.
