The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

Most of my life my career has been centered around children - usually pre-school children. Ive recently been working as native English speaking teacher in a Finnish pre-school, and would now like to scale down and be in more temperate climate. I find the people of Greece and the Med countries to be warm and hospitable and enjoy the relaxed life style, but am open to any friendly and happy family who might need a Mary Poppins!

My Interests:

I am a mother of young adult children and a Christian. I enjoy being with friends, and like a lot of women I enjoy shopping and socializing. My hobbies are in the visual arts, and I'm a keen photographer. I adore animals, history, crafting, and travel, like to swim, read, bike, see movies, go to theater. I like gardening, designing of all things,countryside and enjoy all kinds of music. I think you can tell I am quite a lively person, and never afraid to try new things. I am an adequate cook, and happy to do occasional light housework or shopping.

Dear Family, If you want a teenage babysitter - I am not for you, but if you are looking for someone to compliment your family, as an honorary aunt or more modern day Mary Poppins without the magic furniture! I'm for you! I love to help children learn - and going on 'field trips' to museums, parks, or just an interesting walk is what I love to do with juniors. For the very young, I know that just to ride a bus, or cuddle with a story book is a special time. I'm in very good health, and know how to care and comfort children when they are not feeling well. The experience of being a mother AND a teacher means I'm comfortable with babies through to older children, and will help to bring some peace and order to your busy home.
