The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I´ve been an aupair twice beforeUSA and Germany , and am now on my third experience in Austria. I had a great time and felt really rewarded . I´m seeking yet another wonderful experience!

I´m an active, easygoing, cheerful person who loves to learn, explore new cultures and meet new people.

Family Letter:

Dear family, I´m Marina, a 25 year old journalist just graduated who loves traveling, learning new languages I speak Portuguese, English, Spanish, French and German, sports and meeting new people. I´m from a Natal, a nice sunny touristical Brazilian spot just under the equator. I come from a big, noisy family and have two sisters and two dogs! Among my other interests I have to say movies, bookslove love love reading... and music! I enjoy sports and outdoor activities like bike riding,hiking and swimming. Here in Austria I´m learning horse back riding! I come from a big family and always loved being around children I have so many little cousins, sometimes it isn´t a choice! . I´ve been working with children for a while now, in Brazil as an ESL teacher in a language school for kids for over 5 years. I was also in charge of coordinating the Drama club, this one, with teenagers. My experiences as an actual care giver include a year as an au pair in the US between 2004 and 2005, where I looked after Max and Emma who were 2 and 4 at the time. They now live in Texas and we write very often! I also had one wonderful year in Germany, between 2005 and 2006, and stayed with the Ebhardt family caring for Sebastian7, Klara2 and Philine1. After a year back home to finish university I came back for one more year, this time in Austria where I am right now and will be until the end of December/08. Here I look after two very active and sweet girls, Katharina6 and Isabella9 and I´m really having a wonderful time. I´m still in touch with all my previous families and just love getting updates from all my “children”! I see the au pair experience not so much as a job, but as a way to make a difference in a family´s life. I enjoy learning about the culture, language and family I´m in.
