The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I have always loved children and as I grew older my interest for child psychology grew as well, which is why I've previously studied child and youth psychology. I have previously worked as a nanny in London with children within the age range of newborn – 8 years old. Some of the tasks that have been my responsibilities are: preparing and giving meals/bottles, taking to and from school, bathing, bedtime routines, nappy changing/potty training, attending various activities such as Tumble Tots, Monkey Music, play groups, going to the park and playgrounds and playing at home. I also have experience from doing some light housework such as washing and dishing, ironing and general tidying up, which I am happy doing. These experiences as a nanny have increased my love for children, my patience, as well as my ability to make quick decisions in critical moments. I love being able to use my knowledge from my studies in real life, and seeing how much a positive attitude can affect a child’s behaviour!

My Interests:

I am reliable, caring and optimistic as well as patient, flexible and organised. I'm also careful, kind and calm. I enjoy spending time with my friends, watch films, read good books, work out at the local gym, and taking long walks.

Family Letter:

I am going to London to work as a nanny during the summer. I am able to start from the 6th of June. This is an ideal job for me, given the combination of previous experience of and love for working with children, my previous studies in child and youth psychology, together with my yearning to go back to London to spend time with another great family. I am open for any travelling that might occur.
