The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I am planning a working holiday later this year, and would enjoy the opportunity to take on something meaningful and really immerse myself in a new culture and become part of the family. I enjoy spending time with kids, playing with them and creating and just letting them be carefree - within reason of course!

My Interests:

I'm almost 24 and work full time as a Recruitment Consultant. I really enjoy my job, and theres never a dull moment in my day - but I'd really like to take myself out of a corporate environment and out of my comfort zone to experience something new. I love sport though I'm definitely not an athlete! and I'll always be involved in a game of something - its part of the Aussie culture that I'd love to share with a family overseas. I love music and getting out to see bands and theatre in my spare time, and try I and get to the cinema every couple of weeks to see a new film. I'm fairly easy going, and have lived out of home for more than 6 years now so I'm definitely housetrained! I love books and read a lot in my spare time also.

Family Letter:

I'm really looking for a family that I can fit in with and become the "big sister". I hope to find a fun-loving family who don't take themselves too seriously although I'm old enough to know when its bed time or when homework needs to be done!. I'd prefer to work with older kids rather than babies, so I can be more interactive and get involved in their activities. I grew up in a small country town and love to be outdoors when I get the chance, and really believe its important for kids to keep active and be creative and play. When I was in high school, I spent 2 years living in a boarding house of 50 girls. While it was very noisy and very busy especially in the bathrooms each morning! I loved the chance to mentor the younger girls and help out with homework each night. I'm a very proud Aussie and would cherish the chance to share the Aussie culture with a family overseas.
