HI!! My name’s Melissa, I'm a funloving, nurturing person who can't wait to meet you!! I love children and am seeking employment as a nanny/aupair so that I can apply myself wholeheartedly to enriching the lives of the family I will serve. I have extensive experience with children among which I have been a nanny for children from newborns to 12 years old, I spent a great deal of time coordinating the childcare program at a lodge and am currently involved in a cooperative education program in a kindergarten classroom. I have also taken several courses to further my understanding of the care and development of children. Through these experiences I have learned a great deal such as how to encourage learning in children of all ages and how to help them flourish as individuals. I love to play, a personal belief of mine is that imagination is a cornerstone to success in the classroom and at home, as such I do my very best to encourage creative thinking in children. I love arts and crafts and outdoor activities of all kinds. A specialty of mine is story telling and I love to make up my own fairytales!! I come from large family, with many siblings as well as pets so I know how chaotic a full house can be but I love every minute of it.
