The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I am interested in being an Au Pair for two specific reasons: the ability to experience different culture and for my love for children. I love children, no matter what they do, where they are from, they are a passion and it feels so good to watch them grow, smile and to make their day with even the smallest gestures.

My Interests:

I am 21 years old and going into my 4th year of University close to Niagara Falls Ontario but I am originally from Toronto.. I am currently working at my University running a fundraising program to fight a disease called cystic fibrosis. I am a competitive dancer and enjoy sports, movies and music. I am mixed background of Portuguese and Jamaican, however I do not know my father so I am very close with my Portuguese side. I have a wonderful step-father though. I worked at summer camp for 7 years and that is where my passion for children developed. I am very capable, intelligent and personable. I miss working with children and this is why I think the Au Pair job is perfect for me. It makes me feel good to make a difference in small children’s lives.
