The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I am attending school for 13 years and I am sure that there is more to life than just books, class exercises and learning all day long. I want to make some new experiences and to improve my English. Furthermore I want to try to get to know another culture besides the German one. In addition it could be a great chance to become more independent and to meet new people. PLEASE! No requests for 2008 anymore. I am sorry but after so many "wrong" requests I would like to make sure that you noticed that I am looking for 2009.

My Interests:

I am looking for a friendly family which wants to have an au pair who is open-minded, patient and humorous. I have practise with young children, due to the fact I have two second cousins, a nearly 4 year old vivaciouses boy and a 1 year old girl – she starts to get the same temper like her brother. As you may see, I am used to the bustle of two kids. I have to admit, that I have just a few experience with older children, but I am confident to be able to manage them as well. I simply am more knowledgeable about changing the baby's nappy. I have no problems with smokers, even though I am a Non-Smoker. In 2009 I will be speaking English for 9 years, Russian for 4 years but I have not practise the language since 2006, France for 3 years and Spanish for 1 year. I took care of the younger children at school 10 – 13 year old boys and girls for two years, therefore I attended an advanced training to get knowledge for acting as mediator, furthermore I have learned some theory of education science at school Freud, Erikson, Piaget,.... So I know a few things about the social and emotional development of children and teenagers. I am currently doing my A-levels which I will get 06/2009 and spent my freetime with my friends, my family and my pets I am a real animal-loving person. I work out at a gym twice or thrice a week - it depends on my school schedule - and sometimes I sew costumes, an activity that could be really funny for the kids as well. I have discovered that even grown women forget everything around them if they wear a “princess dress.“

Dear Family, I think I have the same reasons for wanting to become an au pair like most of the other girls and boys which try to. If you would like to have somebody with you who loves to laugh and to play with the kids and if you are looking for a reliable and helpful au pair, I would like to get to know you and your country. It would really enjoy looking after the children, playing with them and helping them to discover this big world. Light housework would be no problem for me, but I must confess that I am not really able to cook unless you unterstand “making noodles“ as a synonym for cooking, though I do not think so .
