Dear family,
My name is Inès, 18, I live in Marseilles France near Mediterranean sea. I live with my parents, my mother Odile is a nurse and my father Christian works for “La Poste” the postal services. I have two sisters: my elder sister is Clélia, 29, she is a secretary and the second is Mannick, she is 27 years old and she is a school mistress. They live in Marseilles too. I have a good relationship with my family and they support me in my project to go to the U.S.A as an Au Pair, they are really understanding because they know that I love taking care of children, travelling and they understand that I want to ameliorate my english.
I choose the au pair’s program because I love being with the children, I am enjoying taking care of them. I like playing with them, drawing, playing outside, manual activities…I think that the au pair’s program will permit me to improve my English knowledge and to live a unique experience in a foreign country! I really want to live in an American family in order to know the culture and the way of life.
I have some experiences with children and a certificate for activity leaders in a holiday camp in French it’s the BAFA and my first aid certificate in French it’s the AFPS .
During one month I worked at an outdoor centre with children old between 6 and 12. We made a lot of activities walk, games outside, dance, going to the zoo, manual activities: making ball to juggle, drawing, painting...
Also, I have done babysitting with little girl named Aglaée. She was almost two years old when I minded her, while some months. She showed me all her cartoons, her toys, her bedroom, her favorite soft toy and we played with toys together.
I am very open-minded and I love doing new activities and discovering new environment. I love travelling, I went to England, Holland, Italy and I have travelled in France during holiday camp.
I’m responsible, motivate, dynamic, serious, autonomous, patient, fun with a good sense of humour. You can trust in me. I like music, going to the cinema, going out, walking, doing sport.
When I was 10years old, I have started playing tennis, during five years. The same year I have started to ski and this year 2008 I have learnt the snowboard.
During three years, I was an actress theater. During my holidays, I played in old people’s homes and in a nurse home for children. I have stopped last year, because I was in the last year Highschool but maybe one day I will begin again.
In June, I’ve got my Final Highschool Exam. In September, I will go to the applied mathematics university. I don’t really know what profession I want to make later, but I have just an idea, I would like an occupation in the communication or working in hotel.
