The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

My goal in life is to experience other cultures in other countries. I feel that working as an Au Pair would not only help accomplish this goal, but would also include the fulfilling reward of teaching and learning from children. I speak French, but I am not fluent. I would love to spend time in France so that I can become fluent in the language, and learn French culture.

My Interests:

My favorite things to do are read and talk with people. I love reading about philosophy, history, politics and science, and talking to people and learning their thoughts on anything and everything. I also love animals. I currently work at a pet shop, taking care of all the animalsl. I get along with children quite well. I've been babysitting since age 14. I live with my cousin Emily, who has just had a baby. I anticipate learning all there is to learn about newborns.

Hi, my name is Cody. I'm from the States. I've grown up in New York, but lived in Florida while attending school. Right now I'm studying philosophy and sociology here in New York, but would like to take time off to see the world and experience something more fulfilling. I feel that an ideal way to do this would be to work as an Au Pair. I would like to Au Pair in France to become fluent in French, but I'd also love to see the U.K./Ireland, because it's always been a dream of mine to go. I'm comfortable with children of all ages, and have been told I'm a great teacher. I play soccer and the cello, and would be happy to play sports with any children that I look after. I'd also be glad to teach English if it were applicable. I don't smoke, I'm a vegetarian, my health is great, I love pets and I look forward to working as an Au Pair!
