The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I would become an au pair, first because I love children, and I want to share moment with them, American’s kids! It’s an other culture! So, I love discover very lots of things, I want to exchange with host family culture, knowledge, love!!!! I want to learn many things, I m very curious you know! I want to learn American’s life! Traditions, Halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas, many things!!! And if it’s possible, I would like learn to children, parents lots of things about France, because I love exchange! I really hope to found family with open mind, who wants to share a humain adventure, who will become like a second family… For me, It’s very important to talk with parents: communication for all, security, education, misunderstanding for there isn’t problem! My Interests:

My name is Marjorie, I am 21 years old. My mother is French and my father’s origin is Mauritius, I am half bread. I am a French student in media studies to get a degree. Before, I was studying sociology with an option in media studies during two years. I’ve got 2 sisters and 1 brother, my older sister is 33 years old, she is married and has a baby: Mathis who is my godson. Now, Mathis is 2 years and 5 months old. He is going to be an older brother because my sister is pregnant for the second time. My brother is 30 years old and my little sister is 18 years old. My friends told me I am very sociable, I love exchange, meet people with different culture I love to learn lots of things! I know lots of people, but I have only some really friends which I can count, and it’s the best! I like to do many things. But my passion is culture hip hop. In deed, I did breakdance during two years and since 2005 I practice rap music, I love music as RnB, Jazz, Soul, classic, gospel. Now I’m writing my lyrics, I love to sing! Furthermore, I like discover many things, with friends or family, go to cinema, go for a walk or a park, have a drink in a pub or coffee. When I can I like to read, with university we must to read lots of, and it’s great!! I love cooking especially dessert!

DEAR HOST FAMILY, About my experience with children, it s difficult to tell you all because I am taking care of many children, in all situation!! For my studies, when I had 18years, I lived in Aix en Provence and I did lots of baby sitting. I take care of LoLa 5years and Noé 3 years Since 2006, I bring them from school, took bath, helped Lola for homework, and played with them . They are like my little sister and brother! For Maxime and Mayline: It s the same thing than Lola and Noé but I take care less than Lola and Noé, but they are children beautiful . I have got lots of drawing of them, Maxime love drawing me plane because his father worked in a factory with planes! In 2006 Maxime was 5years old and Mayline 3 years old. They was in the same school than Lola and Noé! I take care of Emma and Chloé twin who was 2 years old and her sisters Léa 6years and Daphné 8 years For 3 years! I bring them from school, took bath, helped for homework, for cooking diner, breakfast, played at lots of things! They are like princess! She loved to do drawing, art craf, doing show…I take care week ends without parents, on evening when they were at cinema, restaurant like lola, noé, maxime, mayline..after school because parents were working. I take care of Alex,7 years during 2 years. It’ the same thing that all the children I take care him when parents traveled for work, or when they were at cinema, restaurant, etc.. They are like my little sister or brother, you know, I saw grow up them!!! You must to know too, I take care of babies! In deed, I take care of Marilyn who was 1 month years old for 1month and half. I help parents during night, because she didn’t sleep all the night yet! And when she wakes up, she was really hunger! So I make heat the nursing bottle, and give it. Then, I help her for durping. Obviously, when I take care of her, I changed diapers, took bath, dressed her… And even if she didn’t talk we because she was a baby, I ve talking lots of, reading story, singing lullaby…Then I take care of Mathis, my godson, since I was 10 days! But my sister live far away, and when I take care of my godson, it was when she worked with her husband during lots of weeks, when I was in holidays! So now he was 2 years and 5 month, I did lots of things like Marilyn, but when I saw him grow up, I did many thing after! I help him for cleanliness, go to baby food! Then, I take care of him when his tooth were upsurge, oooo I remember of that, it’s not very easy because it’s difficult for him! I played with him in the garden, we loved to go for a walk with stroller, play football, do drawing, listen music, dancing!!!do everything together!!!
