The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I have worked with children on a part-time basis since I first started baby-sitting at the age of 10. I have experience as a Girl Scout leader, youth sports coach, babysitter, summer camp counselor and working with the Big Brother Big Sister program. I would love the chance to spend my first few years after University experiencing a different culture and working with children.

My Interests:

I am going to graduate from University with a BA in History in May 2009. I am interested in being outdoors and generally hiking, camping and generally playing outside. I play rugby, lacrosse and softball and I am active in the Girl Scouts organization. I also love music, movies and art particularly photography.

To the family: I am very experienced in caring for children and I have the energy level to keep up with them day after day! I will make sure to be First Aid and CPR certified before coming to care for any children and can become Lifeguard certified as well if the family would like me to. I love playing outdoors, playing games and doing art projects with children and as I am just graduating from University I am also capable of being a strong tutor for school age children particularly in History and English. I have visited the United Kingdom and Germany in the past and look forward to returning for an extended period of time!
