The Reasons I Want To Be An Au Pair:

I am taking time off of school to go on my own pilgrimage. My pilgrimage is based off a curiosity for human behavior. I want to decivilize my mind and challenge my mind's expectations. I see myself as a life-learner. I receive lessons from every person, young or old. I very much want to experience different cultures and I think caring for a child and being part of a family from a different country would give me that opportunity. I truly love children. I feel they are the best teachers, and I am a child at heart.

My Interests:

I come from a family of 5 boys and 1 other girl besides myself. My parents divorced when I was very young and I have lived most of my life with them apart so I understand how it is to raise a child being a single parent. I would very much like to help a single parent, but a family would be amazing also. I never got to experience that so I would benefit from that situation. I have always been the one to help out with my siblings because I am the oldest. I cooked, cleaned and helped with school. I am very interested in the arts. Photography, film, and music. I don't play any instruments but I appreciate anyone that can and some day want to learn how to play the violin. I have been on many sports teams throughout high school and during my first year in college. I have been a cheerleader, rugby player, on the track&field team, and a crew member. My favorite out of all was rowing. I plan on going back to school for International Business unless of course, I find I enjoy something else through my travels. I am a very personable person and I love to laugh. I am very responsible and open-minded. I always try to make the best out of a bad situation and I feel it would be not only a good learning experience for me, but also for you and your family.
