What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

To care for two children ages 1 and 5, the 5 year old will be in school half a day. Start time 8:00am end time 4:00pm while the parents are at work during the week. Two weekends a month free, and two weekends 5 hours of work each. Two weeks paid vacation included in 12 months work, included in family vacations with extra free time for site seeing. French speaking nanny required with some english. Au pair will be responsible for the children's laundry, cooking breakfast and lunch and helping the children pick up toys and their rooms. $600 will be given to help for travel costs to Michigan. $600 for travel will be paid after 8 months of work. Family will be flexible to allow extra time off to see the U.S. upon agreed time. You must have some experience working with children.

We are a freindly professional family, living in a affluent suburb. We have traveled in Europe extensively and would like to share some of the European culture with our children through an au pair. I am an French teacher and my husband is and engineer. We have two fun boys, who love to play and are well behaved.

If you are a native french speaker please consider working for us for one year. We are a fun loving family and you will be included in our family vacations to Florida and other parts of the U.S. I was an exchange student at age 21 and I know the value of working abroad. If you love children, are responsible, and caring, please consider workign for us. We are located near the University of Michigan and many other schools. You will have a private bedroom and bath. You will be given access to a car on nights and weekends.
