Family Description:

I am surgeon, 41, and my husband is engineer, 50. Our daughter is 3 and son 6 yr old. We live in a new, big house in suburban area near the capital and near nature, too. We also have a kind dog. The children are in day-care and school 3-6 hours a day. We sometimes work long hours, so your days will be from 7 to 17 or occasionally later depending on our work. The evenings and weekends are usually freetime. We appreciate christian values and we live and love family life. We spend evenings preferably at home, and for summer and weekends we often go to our summer cottage on a lake. We do not live jet-set life. We are hardworking and friendly. The kids like music, drawing, playing, cooking. Their friends often come to us to play after school.

Au Pair Letter:

We want to find a GOOD nanny-housekeeper who would be motivated to stay with us for 3-5 years or maybe even longer. We have had au-pairs, lazy girls looking for an adventure, and we have got enough of that. We built this house with the idea of having an nanny for years, so you´ll have a big, peaceful room and own bathroom, and TV and free internet-connection in your room. With filippinas, au-pair contract is not possible, so we´ll make an official nanny-housekeeper contract. You´ll have full living, a bus ticket of 40 euros and 400-500 euros a month in hand, depending on the taxes that are progressive in Finland. You´ll attend a language course on our cost. We want you to feel motivated and passionate and enjoy your work and living here. We want you to have good time, and we appreciate a diamond when we finally find one. Once you have learned the language, you easily find professional work here after our contract.
