What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We are looking for a girl who really loves children, honest, responsible, openminded, cheerful, who really likes children, and wants to STAY FROM 12 TO 24 MONTHS or more in Spain. Please don´t apply if you want to stay for shorter period of time. We want you to wake up children in the morning and prepare the breakfast and take them to the school, which is really close, less than 10 minutes walking from home. Later in the afternoon, go to school again to pick them up and play with them, helping us with the bath and dinner. We also need some help in some weekends with them. We expect you to speak to the children in English, so we are looking for someone with a good level of english. However, we are eager to help you with your Spanish. You will have to do some light house work, as wash dishes, do the laundry, dust, tidy the kid's bedrooms, and those days I'll be away from home, you will have to cook easy recipes such as pasta, soups ... We spend the summer time in an apartment in the sea shore, so you will have to come with us, and help us to take care of children in the beach, babysit at nights don't worry, they use to sleep all night long, and do some housework as well. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom there.

We are a young couple 30 years old with 3 kids. I am a flight attendant and I work away 9 days a month. My husband is a web design manager, and he works all day long from monday to friday. Our kids are 1, 3 and 9 years old,2 little boys and 1 girl and they are used to spend their time with nannies, so they will be nice and smily with you. They are going to an english-spanish bilingual school so the will understand you a little. I speak fluent English, and my husband a speaks a little.

We offer you a very nice place to live in. We are in Meco, a quiet town with all services doctors, shops, schools, bars, bus stops, train station ... 35 km away form Madrid city 45 minutes away by train Meco is only 7 km away from Alcala de Henares city, where you can find cinemas, hospitals, colleges, malls ... there's a bus from Meco to Alcala every 15 minutes. We live in an attached house, with gardens and pools. You will have your own 25m2 bedroom. It has a sitting room area with tv, and a bedroom area with a study corner. You will have to share the bath room with the kids. You will be allowed to use our sunny front terrace and the community gardens and pool in your free time.
