What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

To take care of my daughter before and after school, getting her ready for school, making her packed lunch, taking her to school. LIGHT housework during the day, general tidying and washing up, or ironing etc - if they are not out and about exploring - to pick my daughter up after school and help her with her homework / play with her until I get home. . Babysitting 2 nights per week if required. One weekend childcare a month due to a part-time course starting in September. This would be extra pay on the week containing the weekend. Full time childcare during school holidays required – also extra pay. Free phone call to landlines across Europe and free internet access. Weekends and evenings are free, as is during the day. Own room with CD/Radio player. Help with finding an English course if required.

Family Description:

We are a typical English family. My daughter and I are very close and we like to do alot of things together. We are certainly busy! My daughter goes to dance lessons and has music lessons. I am a member of a "Yorkshire" brass band and we go all over West Yorkshire playing with the band - any au pair would be more than welcome to join us for free to explore whilst the band is playing. We are active members of our Church and I run a drama workshop for children on a Sunday, so we are always busy and doing exciting things.

Dear Au Pair, I hope you will consider becoming one of our small family and experience England and British culture with a very British family! We are loving and welcoming and seek a warm hearted au pair to share our family life. We like to help our au pairs experience everything that England has to offer and like to show you all the nice places to visit. In return all we ask is that you help take care of Sarah-Jane aged 7 and help us a little with keeping the house in order. We live in a beautiful west yorkshire village with easy access to Bradford, Bingley and Leeds. There are lots of places to explore from old English towns to big cities or pretty forests. The villiage has everything, shops, doctors, restaurants, bus stops etc, but also is near country walks, stables for horse riding. We have the best of both worlds - city and countryside within easy access. We have had two au pairs now, both have had a great time and we have made two very good friends. We seek another au pair as our present au pair will be leaving us after a year in order to start studying again. Please write to us for more information.
