What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We are looking for someone who is fluent in German, French or Spanish, with a working knowledge of English. It is our hope that our children will be raised with a variety of languages spoken in the home. *If you are a Filipino national who is VERY FLUENT in French, we strongly welcome your application* Some light housekeeping/ meal preparation duties may be required... negotiable depending on other qualifications. We would like to find someone who can work for us as long as possible. Family Description:

As of April 2008, we have one daughter, and are planning to have 1-2 more children. My husband is an engineer and I run a small company from home. We are devout Christian Pentecostal and very involved in ministry with our church, as well as with African charities and to the poor in our city. I have been involved in the Rwandan community here in Winnipeg, and was in Rwanda in 2003. We also love sports - especially basketball and volleyball - and music. We spend many weekends in the summer at our family cabin. Our family is very easygoing and a lot of fun. My husband is also a professional photographer, in addition to engineering.
