What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Mainly to take care of our two children, Emma 5 and Jonas 3 years old. This means helping us in the morning making our children ready for kindergarten and school. Picking the children up in kindergarten and at school in the afternoon. Cook for the children and play with them until we come home in the evening. Secondly, it would be great if you could do the daily shopping. We have a cleaning lady who helps us once a week. This means that you will only be doing light house keeping tasks. We are looking for a nice Danish girl who we hope would like to be a 5th member of our little family. We do not expect yout 'just' to be a maid.

Family Description:

We are a German/Danish family consisting of Frank 45 years and Anja 38 years and two happy and healthy children who like to laugh a lot. They children are both lively - but in fact we are too! Emma will start at school this summer when she turns 6. She is very curious and has a great fantasie. Jonas is three and loves her bigger sister. Jonas is still looking for limits as it is usual with 3-year old children - but he loves a good laugh, is charming and is very popular among the teachers in the kindergarten. They children play very well together. During the summer time we love to spend the time outdoor and often do barberque in the evening. We like to do sports but unfortunately have too little time to practice.

Au Pair Letter:

Dear AuPair, we are looking for a nice Danish girl who can support us in our busy daily life. THe reason for looking for a Danish girl, is that I need some one to support me in speaking Danish. The children grow up being bilangual, but primarily speak German. Even though, we would prefer you speaking Danish with the children, you will have plenty opportunity to learn a lot German. You will be shopping, picking up the children, bringen them to sport etc. Our former aupairs from Denmark have been happy to be here and have visited German courses too while living here. You will get your own room and bathroom with television, hifi etc. You can use our internet. The wage is the official recommendation from EU. We will ofcourse sign a contract with you and make sure that you have the right assurances. We live in a beautiful wine area with lots of possibility to do sports. As you will stay here for a year, it is ímportant for you to find some friends of your own. It is thus important that you do sports or have some other interest that you would like to do in your spare time. We will make sure that you will be member of the appropriate club. Bad Kreuznach is a relatively small town approx. 43.000 inhabitants but big enough to have nice shops. We live near the river Nahe - 1 km away from the city centre which you can reach within 4 min with the bike cycle.
