What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

The most important thing is that she spends time with our baby, talking, singing, playing, feeding him, being patient with him and treating him kindly. The baby is adorable, so she will fall in love with him immediately. She'll tidy her room everyday and may have to help a little with ironing or doing the dishes, but nothing really much as regards housework. We hope she respects our home not bringing people in without our permission. We expect her to be all love with my baby. That's what matters the most to us.

Family Description:

Our family consists of my 11 month-old baby, Alonso, my husband, Fran, and myself, Lourdes we are in our thirties. We are a young family who wants the best for our baby, and learning another language is one of the best things we can offer him.

Au Pair Letter:

Dear Au Pair, if you are American or Canadian and willing to teach English to our baby and learn some Spanish in Spain, we are your family. Mainly you'll be in charge of Alonso, our 10 month old baby. I work at the English Department of the University of Murcia, so I can give you a hand with looking for language courses if you wish to take any. Also, some of my colleagues might be interested in hiring you in your spare time to teach English to their kids or just spending one afternoon with them once a week, to talk and play with them. Most important of all, we'll try to make you have the time of your life with our baby and all of us in general. We live near the beach, about half an hour drive, and our apartment has a swimming pool that you can use in the summer time. Hope this will help you make up your mind to come live with us for some months! You won't regret it...
